Cup holder any ideas

I recently took a first long trip in the LC, tried to use both cupholders with my wife, and that was very frustrating. Even the "main" cupholder that is near the ac controls is good only for like paper cups, because when I put my metal travel mug in it it starts touching the ac buttons or near it when the car decelerates quickly.
And the second "cupholder" even worse, we can put the cup here, but it shakes on each start/stops, especially if it's not smooth. Also it's very uncomfortable to use the trackpad/volume **** when the cup is in this place.
Anyone fired out how to add a second cupholder that could be usable?
Ideally as I see something on the passenger side near the handle or something, but it should be nice, I don't want to make the interior ugly.
And the second "cupholder" even worse, we can put the cup here, but it shakes on each start/stops, especially if it's not smooth. Also it's very uncomfortable to use the trackpad/volume **** when the cup is in this place.

They still aren't going to hold the mega stanley cups though
