Nicely made video.

The body kit could never make it in and out of our driveway.

That’s incredible!!! I need a video shot like that for my SC300. That would hold me over until I can get an LC500.

Yup I can confirm that. I was the first in NA with that body kit on mine with the same wheels. BC Forged actually did the measurements for me 3 years ago for fitment. Also put mine on ti2000 RS-R springs. All I can say is that I have about 1.5 - 2 inches of clearance in the front and about to install my 2nd lip (due to a misfortune with a manhole )

I absolutely love it - but definitely less convenient, which decreases my daily drive time due to clearance issues.

Oh nice. That is actually the video shoot I did with our LC.

It was HEAVILY inspired by guanche2k9’s LC which I fell in love with when I saw his video last year. (major props to you brotha!)

This was a blast to shoot all day in Monterey/Carmel area. Hoping to have a follow up video to capture more audio clips and interior shots.

Really need a lift option to actually street drive such a set up. That’s in the height clearance range of out track Lotus.

For a track car, splitters are considered consumables like brake rotors. Normal usage is going to break them. And they have to be attached to the other body panels solidly enough to transfer the downforce, meaning those panels take the impacts too (ask me how I know). I imagine that in this street set up the splitter can be mounted more loosely since it’s just for appearance.

The clearance is very very tight. Like, nerve racking tight where Inhave to drive very consciously which gets tiring.

But yes, an air lift system (air cups with coilovers or full air) would be great which I’m hoping to do very soon.

I too am on my second lip (the dealer smashed the first one into a curb when they took in my car for the 1k service and parked it) which was replaced and then a few months later, an alignment shop just paid for another replacement after they bumped the lip causing a small scratch.

Good times

Thanks man - you're looking quite phenomenal - I wish I could do a video here in Florida with a similar backdrop. Cali has a lot of very nice scenery alongside that LC!

Man, truly sorry to hear that. Did the shops (including dealership) cover for the replacements?

Yeah, surprisingly it was not a huge fight to get things taken care of from both shops. (phew!!)
