Reliability? Made in JAPAN says it all. I have a 2018 LX570 purchased brand new. It is said every part on it is made to last 25 years in ROUGH usage. We will see.

I bought a 2008 SC430 used, five years ago, and it has been incredibly reliable and incredibly inexpensive to own, even at 13-years-old. Assuming a Lexus is well cared for and as long as the owner doesn't do any damage to it, it can indeed be "cheap" to own.
