Has anyone experience hail damage to their LC?
Living in Florida, we get our fair share of thunderstorms during the summer months. In my experience, very few produce hail (at least in the Central East Coast area where I live). I’m aware that Texas also experiences many thunderstorms which can be severe and possibly produce significant/damaging hail. That said, has anyone on this forum experienced such thunderstorm(s) and was there any damage done to their vehicle and or roof?
Not an LC but an LS. Paintless dent repair is incredible as they pushed out every dent in the car to the point you can’t tell it was ever struck. $17k later but they did a masterful job. It’s not nearly as catastrophic as it used to be. Fill and paint.

about hail, i was recently in the great state of texas, and it reminded me of the AMAZING hail storms i'd experienced there decades ago when i lived there for a year. i was reminded because i noticed all the outdoor airport parking was COVERED.

true story. I once wrote a paper in college and spelled the same word wrong five different times AND five different ways. Now that gender is fluid so is spelling so quit being so spellaphobic. I was born this way man.
paintless dent repair saves the OEM paint and can actually be done twice before the integrity of both the paint and metal succumb. Good technicians are hard to find so you really have to ask around to find them. We found the actual shop all the high end dealers subcontract to which was a godsend as the car was really badly damaged.

With the PDR dings sure are nowhere near as devastating as they used to be. They can take out not only hail dings but some nasty door dings as well without affecting the factory paint It really is impressive. This may actually come in handier for some LC owners than hail repair
You don't know real problems until you are in the middle of nowhere in a hailstorm on a motorcycle!
No damage as the hail was small in size. And helmets of course protect your noggin from the knockin'.
But when it was over in just a short time, we were stuck until it melted.

Over $45k in hail damage within a month of ownership due to the wonderful Colorado hail. Took the car to the best PDR shop and they were miracle workers. They ended up replacing the hood because it was cheaper to replace and paint then the time it would have taken to conduct PDR. With that said everything else on the car was PDR and the car was flawless when I received it back. The glass roof was actually a lifesaver because then they didn’t have to cut the roof off, they just replaced it. All of this was covered by my insurance. Let me know if you have any questions.
