Piling on the "Stupid" questions for a Friend theme, I noticed that on my split screen, if I receive a text message while driving, when I respond with one of the canned responses (in a very responsible way), the screen will go to the navigation screen, even though I had something else there before the text message came in (usually the trip mpg screen). Is there a setting that says to return to the screen I was on, instead of to the default navigation screen? Thanks all and Happy New Year!

 

Center console Menu/screen Setup/General/Auto Screen - Off.
This will leave any screen display as it was and not switch to Nav.

Original question, if you don't wish to interrupt your media with a voice
command just open Nav screen "Route" and select Delete or Pause.
