Default Part Help Please

Hello all, unfortunately I am a stupid. I closed my garage and my car was not completely in all the way. It hit the silver piece that surrounds the “L” insignia on the front grill. Can anyone help me to figure out the part number and also is it easy to replace? I appreciate your help in advance. Thanks

Hi, unfortunately I am a little computer slow. The Silver border around the “ L” insignia is what got damaged. That is the piece I need to replace. Thank you flowrider.

^^^^Just look at my grill - The ring around the "L" is part of the emblem. That's the reason the LC emblem is much more expensive than the "L" emblem on other models.

The one I linked above is for the LC500h

This one is for the LC500:

Also Lou, when you search the part number it only says LC500 H . I do not have the Hybrid. Also the pictures show a black ring around the L and my ring is silver?

Lou, I think I am lost in translation. When you look at the front grill badge there is a thick silver ring surrounding the badge. I am not talking about the L badge itself but the silver piece that surrounds it. I am talking about the circular piece that is surrounded the badge itself. I think that is a separate part because every site I go to to buy it, does not show the wider circular piece surrounding the badge. I hope this makes sense. If you pull up a picture of the grill you will see what I am describing. This is what got damaged.

Well just saw a you tube video on removing the badge but realized the piece I am talking about is part of the grill. Wow, now I am screwed. Any thoughts on who might be able to repair that piece?

You're not screwed. Be happy you didn't damage the painted hood or fenders!

It's part of the upper grille (calling it "silver" threw me off). I'd say the grille is more of a charcoal gray, but whatever... The LC grille is a 2-part grille. Upper grille costs around $360 (discounted link below). Probably cheaper than trying to repair it. But... you need to remove the entire bumper cover to replace the grille, and Lexus recommends having the millimeter wave radar re-calibrated when removing the grille (radar sensor is part of the emblem assembly). I've removed my bumper cover at least 3 times (replaced lower grill and chrome-plastic trim after many rock chips), but I studied the mechanic docs and watched others do it before I attempted it. Not recommended unless you're really confident. Lots of tabs can break if done wrong. Probably don't need to re-calibrate if nothing's bent. I never did a re-calibration and prox sensors all seem to work as expected. Get a quote from Lexus first, then decide how you want to proceed.

Edit - This is the entire grille assembly (with park sensors). If I can find just the upper grille, I'll re-post...
