Was looking at my production date for the fuel pump recall and saw

this strange sticker on the door frame. Just wonder if anyone had one too or knew what it meant. Only 4 lbs less but still want to know why.

 

Dealers are required to put those on the car as corrections to the factory applied details if they've changed, no matter how minor.

 

Huh - Never noticed before, but I have the same sticker. But mine is reduced by 8kg and 17lbs

If for instance your car had some port installed options, that may change the load carrying capacity from the car when it left Japan. DaveGS4 is correct that the sticker is required to be there so the end user knows.

 

Mine had the CF Spoiler, Wheel Locks and various mats listed as being installed at the port.

Must be something new required by law? I have had many other cars from "lowly" cars to other "expensive" cars from almost all mainstream manufacturers and had never seen a sticker like that.

 

Not new. First time I saw it was in 2010 on my 2009 Tundra.
