Hey guys, long story short I BCA'd (Borrowed Car Agreement) an RC350 F-Sport for a few days to get an idea of which Lexus model I want to lease and something odd happened. Car was parked at the gym. When I returned and grabbed the driver door handle, the door not only opened but the fuel door popped open too. I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else? Thought it was kind of odd

 

My GS gas door unlocks when unlocking the door.Might have been just a freak thing with the fuel door opening.

 

fuel door unlocks with the cars doors, there is no fuel door button inside the car

 

Lol I know there is no fuel door release on the IS, RC and GS. I also know it unlocks the fuel door when you unlock the car. Reread, I said the fuel door popped open by itself. That is not a feature hah

 

probably wasnt closed all the way and barely holding on

 

It was closed and flush with the body. From my peripherals I saw movement. This doesn't bother me (not my car after all ) just curious if anyone else has experienced this happening. Probably a hiccup.

 

The fuel door has been making me feel crazy. If I use the key fob to open the car door the fuel door is free to open. After fueling the fuel door won't close without me hitting the door open sequence fob button again. Weird.
