I see a ramp. I have an inclinator cell phone app that I use to estimate ski slopes and approach ramps. As a result my 2016 Vette was a Z51 and not a Z06. My 2018 LC just barely clears, and the dealer would take the car back if it wouldn't go up my driveway.
It’s a risk mitigation thing
The lift gate reduces the risk of scraping the front on the car
The ramps work but require more skill/care
We have all seen videos of deliveries going literally sideways

Definitely worth the little extra to mitigate any risk to transport a vehicle.
^^^^On yours, I noticed they used Race Ramps on the street end. I have a set (but taller) I use to change oil and anything else I need to look at under the front end
And, another story - When I was younger I rode a Harley. On one of my moves cross country they shipped my motorcycle in a van like that. They were a father and son team. The father rode, but not the son. When the hauler arrived at my new destination. the father was not around so guess who rode my bike down the ramp Luckily I made it in one piece
I've had the car for 3 months now and as I mentioned in my post, it's surprising how good it handles especially considering the weight and its grand tourer aspirations. My knock against the perf package (PP) is specifically that the PP adds a layer of artificialness that while making the car more capable perhaps also makes it less communicative. Yes, I expect the car to understeer especially during an 'extreme' hairpin turn, but I don't expect it to understeer on a routine low speed turn that I don't experience understeer in any other car (performance oriented or not). Furthermore, the understeer doesn't feel mechanical in nature --- it feels like the electronics are interfering which is unnerving to me (this is with or without TC on). It's possible that my specific car or perhaps the 2018 models weren't properly sorted between the ABS, RWS, VGRS, and the thousands of other acronyms employed.
Update: I replaced the Bridgestone runflats that came with the car with Michelin PS4S (NON-runflats). I had to go from 245/40/21s in the front to 255/40/21s as Michelin doesn't make a 245/40 in non-runflat.
Happy to report the massive understeer I was complaining about is all but gone and the little understeer that is present is easily managed with the throttle vs. the terminal understeer experienced before.
