Default HUD question

When driving, the MPH speed limit comes on the HUD screen which I like. Is there a way to keep it, because it disappears and the compass takes its place 5 minutes later. Thanks

Well, I'm just the opposite. I want the darn compass to remain on the screen. The speed limit displays on the navigation screen, and I usually know what the limit is, though I'm usually over it. The MPH shows if you're driving the limit or over it. If under the limit or there is no speed limit the compass shows. I have tried all the adjustments and can't get it to change The dealer also doesn't know how to make the compass stick

I observe the same thing happening.

I think that the speed comes from the map database and gps location of the car.

As I drive, when I pass a speed limit sign, I observe the speed limit on the display changes.

Sometimes the data is not accurate and the speed limit is slightly incorrect.

In some roads, the speed limit disappears and my thinking it is because the data wasn't set up in the map.

As soon as I get to a different road, and pass a new speed limit sign, it starts updating again.
