I found a 2018 LC 500 very close to me with the colors I want for around 69k and some change.
It has 30k miles on it, I test drove it, I loved it. The previous owner clearly took very good care of it.
I also paid a 3rd party to take a look at it and check its over all condition.
The inside is basically perfect.
The outside is great condition there are some very minor scuffs like normal wear and tear but nothing major.
It was leased from a local Lexus dealer and appears to have been very well kept up with maintenance.
I can probably negotiate some new tires and maybe a grand or two off the LC.
Ive paid a deposit to hold it down, so I have a full week to make my mind up.
Is this a good deal??
I've had my eyes on an LC for a good while now.

I wanna join the LC Club
almost 70K for a 2018 with 30K miles. you will also need to do the 30K mile service = $1000
70K is alittle too high for this many miles, You can shop around and get it for 65-66K. sounds
like you are sold on the car since you put money down and had it inspected. remember you
still have the remainder of factory warranty as well. Please note if you spend 70-72K you can
get one with 5K miles and alot more time left on the factory warranty.
These cars SIT on the lots so despite the "" demand "" you can negotiate wiggle room.
nd the thing is if you can wait and dont mind another LC500 i'm sure the dealer will adjust the price in your favor.
either way you go , im sure you will have trouble free miles (besides the squeak and rattles)
The deposit I put down is just a holding deposit, it is refundable.
The vehicle specifically has 32k Miles, maybe the 30k service was already done. I'm not sure on the service.
This is the exact vehicle I test drove and got inspected. In my opinion the inspection I paid for is a small price to pay for a good piece of mind/ knowing im not driving something broken off the lot should I choose to buy it. https://www.texasauto.com/pre-owned-...exus-LC/474024
In person, I showed the salesmen another white LC that had about half the miles for about the same price and I got the typical response of being an 'internet' dealer and its basically already bottom dollar, but he said he'd have to talk to the Manager and maybe we could bring it down to ~67k https://www.bcstoyota.com/used/LEXUS...40d81fc757.htm
I checked auto trader for 2018s and I'm seeing one as low as ~59k with around 14k miles. So it seems there should be some more wiggle room.
What do you guys think would be a good price for this vehicle then? Im thinking around 61k-63k.
61-63K sounds good to me. There is such a variance in the aesthetic of used cars out there that only a visual can compare. Of course, there isn't much that a $1,000 micro detailing job can't bring back to ''almost like new''
One thing to note (as was my car) the dealers buy them at a price and they sit for months...
all the while depreciating. When it comes time for your to buy they have little wiggle room
to reduce the price, and ultimately either take the hit or send it to auction and take the hit
there. its tough for them to compete with joe down the street who just bought it for 55K
and has it listed for 63K.
Love the red interior! that or tan was my desired color. i ended up with all black.
I also prefer the stock 20" wheels , but to each his own.
good job showing the sales guy the competition. if they know whats good for them
they will provide a reasonable counter offer. you've already checked the car out and
confident with the condition. you cant speak to the other cars at the lower prices.
dont need to buy a title wash car because its 2K cheaper.
Both cars are quite different. The first car has the Sports Package and has 21" after market wheels. I don't recognize the wheels so can't comment on the quality. I drive aggressively, but have never seen my average gas mileage come close to 16.9 mpg
The second car has the Touring Package and has the OEM optional 20" forged wheels that have been painted black. Can't comment on the quality or wear of the tires on either car.
And, IMHO, Price is not the only factor in considering a used car

I found a 2018 with 7,200 miles in infrared without any scratches externally and the inside is also showroom new. The car has a brand new set of 21 in tires on custom rims along with the low mileage stock wheels and tires. I’m getting the previous owners platinum Lexus warranty with 5.5 years left and this car is loaded with the $106k sticker price. I’m paying $77 k. The owner also had the brakes changed by Lexus to the better pads and had the apple car play retrofit.
I’m my state the sales taxes are 1/4 of what I would pay from a dealership since I bought from a private party.
I agree that your price is too high. Either deal more or look around.
mine was purchased late august 2019 for 68-70K (trade in value varies) with 22K miles.
Everything within 150 miles or so was around 76-82K for 5K cars at that time. in retrospect
i should have pursued a car with 5k miles. perhaps with some CF bits / roof, unfortunately
i'm not a fan of the 21" wheels due to pot holes EVERYWHERE.
The LC doesnt burn any oil and the local dealer service dept has been stellar unlike chevy & the local
chevy dealer.
It should be interesting to see how the LC holds up. I have no reason to doubt it will hold up very well.
im sure you'll find a perfect fit, shop around they are out there. though i doubt the dealer will let you
get off the hook easily (they will work a deal with you).
