Did I Get a Good Deal
Sounds like a reasonable deal to me. You'll doubtless have some who think it was worth $14K
but based upon what I've seen reality is that the cheap cars are generally priced that way for a reason. 51K miles and premium condition = worth what you paid, IMO. FWIW, I sold my '03 well-optioned non-UL for $19.9K a few weeks ago.
Welcome!

18.5 is a reasonable deal and I would personally spend 18.5 and get what I like rather than pay less and be unhappy with something in a car.
Let me see.... You got a $60k car, (today's price) for less than 1/3 the price. It has well over 50% of the life left in her, and you will enjoy the ride for years to come, plus when you decide to sell or trade there will still be some residual value.
The idea of getting a good deal, is if you are happy with what you got in return for what you paid. Buyers remorse is normal, and must be tolerated... LOL.. You would have felt the same if only paid $8k, and be wondering "what the hell is wrong with this car, for that price??"

18.5k for a 01 with low miles is a decent deal... then again...thinking of a person in the car industry is a little different... Auction can get you a 04 with similar miles for that price!!
Galves of 04 ML with 60k is 17.5k!!
