Default Door Panel Removal Help

Anyone remove the door panels on the LC? I have to replace the little black rubber corner seal at the front upper edge and door panel needs to come off. Figured I’d ask to see if anyone knows all the clips and screws before I start experimenting and hunting for it while trying not to break anything.

Thanks

Don't think there are many members here who's car is off warranty, so the Dealer would be handling it.

Wasn’t really a warranty type question...just wondering if anyone had any experience pulling it off. Could have been for aftermarket speakers or any number of reasons. I guess I could have tried the warranty claim on this or just had the dealer do it and pay the labor, but I’m always paranoid dropping my car off. It’s low with the carbon fiber and techs are not always super careful with lip or wheels. Peace of mind doing it myself.

But anyway...I figured it out by looking at a detailed door parts diagram. There are 2 screws behind the horizontal panel that goes across the door under the armrest (seen removed in pic below) and then it’s all clips so pops right off.

5 minute job for anyone needing this as a reference in the future.

It's always nerve wracking pulling body panels and other parts off. It seems like there is always a hidden clip or screw or something that keeps things from being too easy.

Yeah I hear you. I’ve been known to sell a car just because of a rattle, so always concerned with breaking or loosening something. In this case, door panel was easy. The little black triangle just forward of mirror on outside of door was a pain in the ***, and it had to come off to slip the rubber mounding in there. But all good and back together now...

There has always been some "extra" noise in the cabin of my LC500. It's not always present, it just comes and goes. It used to annoy me but I just got over it. I picked up a 2020 Supra in January and just like the LC there are some occasional rattles in the cabin. It's just something I am going to live with.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but is the outside door handle accessible once you remove the interior door panel? It's about time for me to replace the motor on my door handle since it's squeaking and not sitting flush when locked.

That forged carbon panel behind the interior door panel and the glass have to come out, apparently. This is probably why Lexus charges $1000+ for the labor to replace, on top of the $1000+ for the actuator itself.
