Two questions
First, when the thing dies and is just plain unresponsive, how to get the odd ball transmission into neutral to push it out of the road. Has happened twice now and we were able to do it in the harried moment, but I’m really not sure how we did it.
Is there a proper way? Just want to be ready in case it ever happens again. And might be good for us all to know it.
Second, I’m not sure how to move the Carplay icons around. They all reset when we went to ios 13. Pretty easy with a touch screen, but it’s eluding me how to do it with our touchpads.
ANSWER, at very end of this video. It is done on the iphone
Thanks in advance

Thanks. I knew it was simple, but the oddity of this shift mechanism got me. With the car’s stalled in a lane of traffic it was a matter of hurried experimentation by a guy used to one movement.
Hope none of us needs this, but good to know.
