It looks like the thread I started looking for a front parking camera has been forgotten many posts ago.
assume that's your "My dilemma buy now or wait" thread, and someone posted in that yesterday. not being critical but possibly doesn't help that your thread title doesn't mention front parking camera.
if you want that thread combined with this one we can do that.

ok thanks. The reason for my thread was should I wait until the new model in case a front camera is added.
Anyone install a front camera on this baby? I don't find that the front sensors are very useful for curbs. I actually would love birds eye view, as I have on my Highlander. At least my Corvette trade in had a front camera.
Found a shop in Scottsdale to install a camera (see if you can spot it). It works very well. I’m pleased with the placement of the switch as well. The only issue I have is they didn’t center the camera with the grill logo. I’ll be taking it back so they can fix that.
I am not sure why more LC drivers don't complain about this. I find parking front-first in many situations to be quite the annoying experience. Did no Lexus or Toyota engineers actually do any headfirst real-world parking tests with the car prior to release? I actually can't think of any new car nowadays that doesn't offer a front camera or birdseye view, All other Lexus models offer it.

What he said, especially at this price point. It's just inexcusable. Obviously not a deal killer (for me), but a real head-scratcher.

Yep. One of the more puzzling things Lexus chose to do (or not) with this particular model. I wonder if they thought since this is their "sports car", it didn't need some of the usual Lexus creature comforts? Not that I would put cameras in that category. That's like a base requirement on cars today.
. The owner (Eric) referred me to the shop in Scottsdale who ordered the parts from Beat-Sonic. That shop (InMobile) had the car all day and charged me $750. The only issue I had was they inadvertently installed the camera a bit off center. When I took it back the next day, the tech apologized and properly placed it. Took about 20 minutes. By the way, I didn't do the navigation and DVD bypass, so they didn't have to do all of that disassembly on my car.
