Saw it earlier. This could be an LFA successor.

Most definitely. Should outperform the LFA if hp/tq figures are what they're projected to be (and the weight stays down). Definitely excited!!

Say goodbye to all the future NA LC500 sales Lexus. You will **** off about 3,000 current LC500 owners if you release a FI version within less than two years of releasing the NA version. The NA versions will plummet in price causing thousands to lose over 50% equity in their cars. Just like McLaren did with the 12C owners SMH....

I disagree. The LCF might be like 25k more. When I am eventually in the market for a LC, it would be my daily. Hence, I think I would go for the LC over the F.

I don't see 6 series owners complaining that there is an M version of their car.

What other Lexus coupes besides the LFA have 471+hp and actually look good? Don't state the RC-F or GS-F either LOL. BMW has a host of models to choose from that's why BMW owners don't care. Lexus does not.

don't really get your point with your statement above. As I said, there are persons that buy the 6 series and others buy the M6. The LC and LCF will be no different. Not everyone wants the M6 so they get the 6 series. Not everyone will want a LCF, so they get the LC.

Blaze876 has a valid point. I owned both the BMW M6 and 650i coupe at the same time. Different animals altogether. The wife wanted the 650i and I wanted the M6. Which by the way, I sold to buy the LC500. So if Lexus comes with a LFA successor with a LC500 body but stiff chassis and high horsepower, it won't fit what I bought the LC500 for which is comfort and sportiness with a daily driver usefulness. My opinion.

I'm with Nick on this!

I doubt the LC F will ever be anything like an LFA replacement, two very different architectures... sticking with the v8 engine layout(possibly turbo charging) and the current LC chassis alone makes them very unrelated.
As I said elsewhere, if they just went with the clear wheel/tire/suspension changes, fixed the lower half of the 10 speed ratios to do proper acceleration and make use of the current motor's power band it would be a huge improvement without even doing a TT setup with more power.

I tried telling you a few months ago the LCF was coming and you didn't want to believe it, lol.
But yes, prices will obviously drop on the LC500....UNLESS, the LCF is priced $150k-$180k. Anything under $140k and *most* people (Lexus customers) looking to buy this type of car would, without a doubt, drop the extra $30k-$40k more for the F line.

It's all speculation at this point even though some spy photos may suggest otherwise. There is no confirmation from Lexus Corporate, there aren't any specs that can be verified. For all anyone knows the pics could simply be the same 2URGSE motor with a slight increase in power, lighter weight, adjusted gear ratios etc. and not even have the rumored TT 4.0L or a SC 5.0 V8. How many years have there been repeated spy shots of a new Supra and still we have nothing even after a race inspired model was displayed? LMAO

Ask at Earnhardt where you bought your LC. They've already confirmed the same, and my name's the first on the list.

While we're all speculating about this, remember - there's no correlation between spy shots and production dates. I suspect a realistic production ETA (and price) would be more in line with what C&D projected... ~2022 and ~$200,000:
