Scrape Armor - anyone use it?
Anyone familiar with or use this product? I am considering it after a couple of scrapes, despite my best efforts. Is anything else out there or would you say don't waste the money and just try and be more careful?

IMO I think that it's ''odd'' to spend that much on an add-on that's going to get scratched to sh...ts anyway! I took a DIY approach by using:
- A universal rear bumper guard mounted right below the grill section under the front bumper. (the type of guard that lays flat on the rear bumper edge like found on many SUV/Hatchbacks).
- Cut two pieces of black bodyside moulding, warmed up at 175 degrees in the oven in order to make them pliable enough to curve along the front edge of the bumper under the car. These mouldings are installed on the right and left sides, running from the wheelwell edge to the middle bumper guard.
This way once I've scratched the life out of them, cost to replace is under $50.
I can try and get some pictures posted when I return home from Europe next week.
