Does anyone use the rear rubber bumper guards?
If you drive into the city often then you've probably seen the bumper badger or bumper bully, etc, mats hanging off rear bumpers. Does anyone know of a high quality and durable brand that fits well on the 4th gen GS? Thanks
I use the Bumper Buster. Its fitment is based on how well you install it. I don't have the scratches or marks mentioned by others because I think I'm super careful on how I use it. Also like most enthusiasts on the forum, I regularly wash/polish my car and use rubbing compound on any surface-level blemishes and scuffs.
I recommend it b/c I'd rather have a few minor scuffs/surface level scratches then the digs I had with my old GS - NYC drivers don't give a crap about other peoples cars (esp when parking) so your bumper is the first thing to look horrendous.
A friend of mine did make me laugh about it though when he said he knew a guy with an older Altima (like a '96) and his car was pretty scratched up and dented up all over, but his bumper was amazing because he always used a bumper protector lol

I just accept that my bumper is gonna look like crap eventually (sooner than the rest of the car) and go with the flow. Sucks that people don't care about hitting others' cars. I think some people think you're supposed to hit the cars in front and behind you when you parallel park. Idiots
