Exclamation Throttle Response

Has anyone experienced the issue with their LC after pulling out in traffic (car is warmed up & hi-test gas) and it is not responding to any attempt at acceleration? Almost feels like limp mode in my last AMG. It will come back to life after it is slowed down and then takes off again. It has happened 3 times and yesterday I was almost in a accident! Scheduled for 5k servicing next week and would like to advise Lexus if someone else has had this issue.

Thanks in advance.

No, I've never experienced anything like that. Let us know what the dealer says, it doesn't sound safe to drive.

You sure you're not bumping the shifter **** into neutral? What is hi-test gas?

Search the web on “Lexus hesitation on acceleration”. Not limited to only LC I guess.
I experienced on my old LS460 and recently on the 2017 rx350

Thanks for the replies, appointment tomorrow & getting a loaner, so (hopefully) they can resolve. Will advise of the outcome.
Other than that, love the car. Ep

Dealers could not find any codes thrown or service bulletin regarding this lack of throttle response while in gear. We feel after going slow before pulling out on to main street the trans ECU might have selected a higher gear! If & when it happens again I will pull the paddle & hopefully find a lower gear.
Thanks for your input.

So the transmission automatically selected a higher gear? Was the vehicle in "D" or manual mode? I would assume it was on "D"...
