Difference between Touring and Sport seats
I just got back from sitting in two LC 500s; one with the Touring seats and the other with the Sport seats.
First off, I must state that I am OVERWEIGHT and my butt is really too wide for EITHER of these seats, as is the case with SPORT seats in many sporty cars.
However, other than the obvious texture difference between the semi-aniline leather trim on the Touring Pkg. and the 8-way power support Alcantara seats on the Sport Pkg., I could barely feel any difference. The rear side bolsters were OK (wish they were adjustable) but I must say the side bolsters on the bottom were stiff and with my WIDE BUTT, not particularly comfy. The seat bottoms in my '09 Corvette Coupe seem to be slightly wider and definitely softer. The obviASS solution would be for me to lose 50 lbs., but that ain't gonna happen any time soon.
Are there any other ClubLexus members in my situation? Did you choose one seat over the other because of it? I was thinking of just going with the Touring Pkg because of the "classic seat deal," BUTT now I'm not so sure.
Enquiring minds knead to know...
(BTW, I did do a search for "seats" to see if this has been discussed before.)

FWIW I have an RCF which i believe has similar seats to the LC Sport seats, and I am overweight as well, and also have very thick legs, and have no issue with them.. I find the RCF seats to be far more comfortable that the regular RC seats which were too flat IMO.
not sure if that help you at all.

I have average width, legs and waist, and I have to keep adjusting my butt and my left thigh on the side from the bolster jabbing into it.

I have the sport seats
I have average width, legs and waist,(175 pounds) and I have to keep adjusting my butt and my left thigh on the side from the bolster jabbing into it. So, if you are on the plus side you might want to stick with the leather seats and forget about the sports seat, you probably will not like them.

Touring seats are my preferred seats. Just because these are the seats that were designed specifically for the LC and not shared with any other model. They also look amazing.
The sports seats are everywhere. Even in the stupid NX F sport model.
