I am considering changing my F Sport seats to Non F Sport seats, and even possibly to second gen seats if they will fit. While I'm at it, I will also be changing from my Rioja Red to Black if possible. My question is, does anyone know for sure if I can change to Non F Sport seats and/or to second gen seats?

I thought I remembered seeing someone say they put 3IS seats into a 2IS but I can't seem to find that post.

Any help would be appreciated!

 

As I recall, the wiring connector on 2IS vs 3IS is different but would imagine you could swap 3IS F Sport for 3IS non F Sport, but can't conclusively confirm.

Thats a good point about the wiring. As long as the function of the wires match up I suppose I could cut/splice the wiring.

Also, the most important thing would be for the bolt holes to match up. also the frame itself can't be a whole lot wider/higher than mine I suppose.

 

I'm looking for something with a less bolster on the seat bottom. The seat back part is ok, just would like the bottom to be flatter if possible.

 

I can ship/receive in Montana if necessary.

Initially I was but I decided to keep it as factory as possible.

 

So you traded red seats for black seats?
I was about to get the Red seats but the interior was overwhelmingly red.
I decided to go with the black interior and i'm glad i did.
