Just saw this on the HP. Personally, I like yellow, but feel like the LC 500's lines are getting lost here. What do you think?

 

Its a SEMA car (and hitting various shows), and NOT factory yellow. I've seen this car in person. Fugly! I'm surprised Lexus allowed them to even show it after bastardizing that poor car.

 

Yeah, I didn't figure it was going to be a factory option, and I agree with you!

 

There is a factory yellow (5C1), but that's not it. And it's limited to certain markets (US isn't one of them).

Yup. Lexus is taking it to all their shows.

 

For some reason this color makes it look too much like a GTR in my opinion.

 

I am quite disappointed in the exterior color choices for the LC and the interior options are not much better..... The one color I do like is the blue depicted in the marketing photos (not the Nightfall Mica) which is now called "Structural Blue"; it is not listed on the Lexus web site but I heard you can order that color.....

Not sure if there are any alterative interior colors but the ones shown are not favorites.....

In any case.... I will not be ordering or buying an LC anytime soon and if I do take the plunge it will be a used-coming-off-lease CPO if one in the desired color can be had..... Meantime, I can observe all of the early adopters that will share with us in this forum.....

 

Structural Blue is not available anywhere so far, lets see what will next MY bring.

 

I saw the factory yellow the other day and it is pretty nice..

 

i think the factory yellow looks ugly.... just my option
the car is nice, ive seen two at my dealer in person just this past week and the finish out on the car is great just wish it had better performance than my RCF
