Default Random bumper damage

I dont know how this happened. I spent months on this forum prior to getting my 2025 bespoke just reading learning the dos and donts with this car. I don't park head in except at very specific locations that I know have clearance. This shows up out of knowwhere when I head out for work. The lighter spots are me running my finger over the damage. There is no sign of rubbing/impact.

Had to cancel the detail appointment thats very badly needed.

Already got an appointment to get it fixed.

Those gouges are awful deep especiallly the top one to have zero surrounding rubs/abrasions. It almost looks like a knife was taken to it...

You obviously hit something while driving. Rock or something. You didn’t notice due to road noise, stereo, etc.

it happens.

How would it gouge two deep lines with no impact around them? I've had a lot of rock and road debris dings and none ever looked like that.

I'll admit vandalism seems unlikely given the location, but that damage is weird. That top line is a gouge not just a scuff. Weird.

**** happens, it's a freaking car!

(Still sorry it happened to ya)

A bumper replacement (don't ask!) isn't cheap and they have to recalibrate the sensors as well.

I do fine out on the road, but I keep running into my own property. I damaged the partially open garage door and the shark fin antenna on my Acura MDX twice, and I scraped against the interior wall with my GX.

I have a rock wall about a foot tall just outside the garage entry, with a short driveway that has a large dip. I’ve now hit it twice with the LC. I trimmed the wall back six inches, but I still have anxiety pulling in and out. Got the PPF and wheel in the pic last time. One good thing about our cars is you only have to replace one side of the front bumper PPF.

I have a two-car garage with single overhead doors and back in my cars. I had an easier time maneuvering the GX. I’m working on getting another house, with garage and driveway accommodations at the top of my list of requirements.

I get phantom scratches on my cars all the time. Sometimes it's kids playing, garbage man dragging the cans, etc. Just regular people activities. There are a lot of careless people out there.

Ouch. ++ on the Garage priority for the house. I thought a 3 car garage was going to be enough, but now it's not (and wife is also against paying for car storage of the LC). I constantly talk about the house we originally were going to purchase but decided otherwise; 6 car garage with a lift in one of the bays and heated driveway/walkways.

Our latest garage fiasco; she recently thought the garage door was open and backed out the LX. Luckily I have a large hitch step mounted and only the garage door suffered (the PKSB is disabled because of the hitch step).

Didn't the rear camera show?

Pretty sure the rear camera and rear view mirror camera showed (although the vehicles are covered with road dirt/salt etc). I suspect since she wasn’t opening the garage until she was in the vehicle it was a “paying attention” thing. She’s now opening the garage door before getting in the vehicle. Also, if PKSB was enabled it may have auto-braked.
