Total LC500 sales?
Anyone have a good source for total LC500 sales #s in USA?
I'm curious because the R172 SLK55 was only sold for 2012-2016 model years and sold maybe 6k units total give or take, yet you can still get OEM parts from Mercedes nearly 10 years later.
So I expect higher sales #s on the LC given its nearly 9 full model years of sales and slightly less "niche" status vs the SLK55, meaning it should in theory have OEM parts support beyond the 10-year mark (mainly for replacement door handles and perhaps electronic bits and bobs since the drivetrain is pretty bullet-proof).
I'm debating stashing away a pair of door handles. I still have replacement bi xenon headlights and a steering wheel for an SLK in case I ever manage to track down my blue 2016 I boneheadedly sold, to give her a fresh look when she comes home. Since the LC will be a forever car that I WONT be foolish enough to sell, I may set aside some wear-item replacements. 🤣
