Maybe try to be on site for the leak testing
My Gen 2 NSX had a windshield replacement (dealer and subbed out) and it leaked during the first rain after I got it back
Had to go back in for some additional sealing and has been fine for the last 6 plus years
Good tip, don't want to listen to a whistling noise or have a leak.

I would suggest where ever you have your windshield replaced make sure it's a Lexus windshield. Had to replace on my SC430 and it was a 2k job instead of a non lexus glass. I had to insist with my insurance company for original replacement, the other windshield was $300. Pay for the Lexus logo no doubt.

When you say, "Pay for the Lexus logo no doubt", did you mean you got no tangible features from the Lexus windshield except the logo? Or, no doubt, one should go OEM Lexus? I think the latter, but what was the tangible benefit?
I mean everything oem from Lexus is an upcharge. I wanted everything as original as possible for resale of my SC430 and feel exactly the same with my LC.

The benefit was to the next owner, he bought my SC430 with an OEM Lexus windshield and I would do the same with my LC.

its an LC, don't put a 3rd party windshield on it. They wont have the same manufacturing controls that a billion dollar company would.
Anyone with experience having their LC windshield replaced? Rock hit the top of the windshield and has now cracked down about 5 inches and across about 5. This is the first damage to my MY2023 convertible and just wondering if anyone has any tips or caveats. I have found a body shop that did the repairs on my LS awhile back. Seems straight forward, but just throwing this out there. Thanks for any help.

Make sure to get in the car and check that your HUD will go back to level with the adjustments on the steering wheel. After my glass was replaced my HUD was never able to go back level, even with full adjustment so it's NOT level by a hair. Used to drive me nuts but I got used to it. Another rock is sure to find me! 😞

Thanks man. I will check out the HUD display after replacement as well as make sure there is no whistling noise at speed. I was not aware of a HUD leveling adjustment, but only the up/down position on the windshield and the brightness. ?

Yeah, my 2018 you can move the HUD up and down and tilt/rotate it.
