My possible OCD is compelling me to say that you should always have at least one other mechanism holding the car up other than the jack. You say you don't have jack stands, so maybe if you have two jacks use one as the backup. Of Amazon has a ton of overnight delivery of jack stands. I also use a Jack Rod, by AGM IIRC, which is a jack stand that fits in your jack itself and I really like it.

If I lift from the front or back, I'll buy some jack stands. I might just use the side pinches though, because it seems like people use those to change tires. I'm in no rush.

For those of you that have put the car on jack stands on the pinch welds adjacent to the wheels, have you used a hard rubber adapter to put on top like the one pictured below? Any recommendations? In the next few weeks, I'd like to put my spacers on.

I don't use that. I just use the stand on its own. I have the same kind of stand pictured, I just align and center it under the pinch weld then lower directly onto it. No damage to my pinch welds yet.

I use these pads on my Torin Jack Stands and they work very well using the aluminum jack points (pictured below is front left jack point). As far as accessing front center jack point, i roll onto wooden planks to raise the front just enough for my jack to reach. I lower onto the stands but always leave it there with some tension as a safety measure.

It's been a busy few weeks with the car. I spent the afternoon installing 20mm spacers in the Florida heat. I decided to just use the 4 jacking places adjacent to the wheels. No issues whatsoever. I highly recommend these square jacking pads made for pinch welds that I picked up from Amazon. Perfect fit and they look like new after I was done so they should last. All 4 wheels are nice and flush with the body lines now. Prior to the spacers, I also installed upgraded sequential smoked turn signals in the side mirrors and smoked full LED side markers. I might get some RS-R lowering springs, but I'll pay a shop to handle that. Still undecided on those.

Just wanted to add a few pics to this 'jacking points' thread. The forward jacking point looks a little "what the hell' when you look at it...lol.
Sometimes a pic or two is all that's needed, to actually see how things work. I jacked the car from the side first, slid in my wooden crib, then slowly lowered the vehicle. Works great!
