Default 2025 lc 500 dash cam

Hello everyone, just found out about this forum. I am a proud owner of a 2025 LC 500 Bespoke Convertible in INFRARED (I traded in my 2024 Porsche Cayenne S V8) and boy do I love driving this thing around. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a DASH CAM in this convertible?
I plan on keeping this thing for a very long time at least and wanted some recommendations especially a DASH CAM.
Also, I live around the northern suburbs of Chicago / SALT belt area. Is under coating this thing a good idea or will I be causing issues (woolwax undercoat) ?
I do plan to drive it WHENEVER I can (including winter). Never had a real rear wheel drive before but definitely LOVE the feel of this thing.
I did read a lot of topics/posts in this forum but would very much appreciate any kind tips regarding this beauty. Thanks.

I user Viofo A329 Pro 2 channel with Dongar Pro power adapter in my coupe. And Viofo memory card just for compatibility. I could have done with Viofo A129 Pro as well but got a good deal during thanksgiving on A329 Pro.
If you are planning to have two camera setup and not planning to have passengers in rear seat at all then buying two of A129 Pro is what I would recommend. Front with Dongar Pro and rear connected to cigarette lighter. This would avoid routing wires from front to rear. BTW few folks use BlackVue cams as well and no complaints so far from anyone in the LC forum on any of these cams.

Many of the owners here that have installed dash cams did so in their coupes. Installing in a convertible is a little more complex. I have a 2024 convertible and am still considering what dash cam to install but am leaning towards the "remote box" type system (like BlackVue offers) that has smaller cameras. More wiring, harder install, but smaller cameras, less heat issues and a more secure recording. If you pick something come back and post what you installed. Also, if you search the forum you'll find plenty of posts on this subject.

I second the Viofo line of cameras. I have 4 of them and rarely have any issues.

Thanks for this post. I was wondering how to route the wire in the headliner.

Are you using the second channel?

What Size memory cards do you recommend with the 2 camera setup?

Correction, it is Viofo A229 Pro 2 Channel. I bought this because of the latest Sony Starvis sensor which is supposed to be good for night videos.
Bought polarizer for front camera (or I think it comes with it) which is really needed. I installed it but forgot to adjust so just noticed a lot of dashboard reflections in recent videos. Now I have to adjust the polarizer before next outing to remove the reflections. Rear camera is small and has no polarizer thus too much reflections in videos at night and during day when sunlight hits from behind.
I am using 512 GB Viofo card. It has all the videos from my last weekend's 15+ hours non-stop run and many previous days (but short runs). Probably some space is still left.
Watched many videos before routing the cable behind airbags in A pillar and near rear glass. If I do it again then I will buy two A119 Pro or A229 single channels, and use Dongar Pro for powering front camera and use cigarette lighter for powering rear camera. This will avoid all complicated routing and makes the job very easier (and rear camera could have a polarizer filter as well).

I ordered a single channel A229 Pro for the rear and A329T for the front.
