Default Looking for Advice - Ordering a LC500 in Canada

I'm close to pulling the trigger and ordering a new LC500 in Alberta, Canada. From what I can tell besides interior and exterior colour, the only option in Canada is the performance pack.

I'm leaning towards ordering the car without the performance pack because I would rather have the glass roof than the carbon fibre roof, I'm not a fan of alcantara/suede, and I don't think that I will notice not having the performance upgrades given how I will use the car (weekend/roadtrip cruiser).

Am I making a bad decision not ordering the performance pack? Do you think I will regret it? Anything that you guys think I would miss?

Thanks in advance!

Did you ask your Lexus dealership if the Bespoke Build option is available? It’s not currently showing on the Lexus Canada website, but it used to be. It is typically only available to order for part of the year.

I too wanted a glass roof, as well as other options only available with a Bespoke Build. While the 4 Wheel Active Steering in the Performance Package option may have been nice to have, you can’t get it with a glass roof. The car is still very enjoyable to drive.

Did you end up getting an LC without the 4 wheel active steering? I'm going into the dealership tomorrow so I will ask if the bespoke option is still available

Based upon your intended use the “touring” package would suit your requirements. Opting for the Torsen LSD would be a useful inexpensive choice.

I have a 2024 LC Bespoke Build with the glass roof. The Bespoke Build is not available with the 4 Wheel Active Steering.

If you find that the Bespoke Build option is currently not available, it might be available at a later date.

Build configurations are different in Canada. The only packages available are Standard, Performance or Bespoke.

My Bespoke Build also has the Bespoke Performance option, which gives you 4 specific components found in the Performance Package, namely the Torsen limited slip differential, carbon fiber-reinforced polymer scuff plates, rear performance damper, and Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires.

#1 on the glass roof(extra headroom) and the semi-aniline seats, touring pckg is the way to go...you wont miss the handling extras.

So according to the dealership, the Bespoke options were only available at the beginning of the year - I put down a refundable deposit and the dealership is going to find out if they can get me a 2025 model or a 2026 model.
