Great news! On my 2020 GS F I tried aftermarket sensors and they would not pair up. I ended up ordering OEM's and had to have the aftermarket set of wheels dismounted and remounted to swap sensors.

Glad you were able to resolve

FYI for anyone else reading this thread. I bought the same sensors as @2025LC500 from tpms.com for my 2024 and at first they would not pair up at all. I drove upwards of one hour at times, over 60 miles at highway speed. Gave up and bought his set of OEM sensors and lo and behold after 250 miles cumulative driving across probably close to 10 trips, the sensors finally registered and displayed. So now I have an extra set of OEM sensors lol.

So basically, don't give up right away, give it at least a full tank of gas to see if they'll pair up.

It looks like there are 2 different options in the setting screen. When your installing new sensors you need to go the change wheels section. After the sensor light turns off you need to go back hit set pressures.

Right. Getting the sensor light to turn off is the problematic part of this process!
When you hit "change wheels set" the light will blink 3x slowly then it will rapid blink for 1 minute, then it will be on solid. This is when you need to do the "10-30 minutes of driving over 25mph" to attempt to get it to pair and register, at which point it will turn off when it does (eventually lol). Then you let the tires cool, fill them to where you want them, and then do "set pressure" to baseline the system at your pressures.

I would suggest not turning the car off once you put it in the tire change mode. Will also go quicker if you have access to a tpms scan tool

Yeah not turning the car off would be ideal but I had already driven 60 miles lol. Anyway it worked, just took quite a long time. Scan tool would help but was trying to do it without spending any money since the car should be able to learn the sensors. Just annoying that the process is not transparent at all and quite finicky if doing it this way.

I do wonder if OEM sensors would have paired quicker

The OEM sensors I got from the dealer registered within 15mins of a drive.
If it takes longer to register on non-OEM sensors, I wonder how accurate and how fast they update the reading.

They're accurate now that they paired. They read 37 as soon as they paired and that's what the tire was when I got home this morning. Just now updated all tires to 33 cold pressure and drove down the block, all tires reading 33 psi.
