Default Touch Up Paint Suggestions

I have a 2021 LC 500 convertible, liquid platinum. It does a great job hiding small rock chips but I'd like to get some touch up paint. Who do you guys recommend? Thanks.

I used www.touchupdirect.com
Matches my Atomic Silver perfectly.

Never really had any luck with touch up paint but I bought the Lexus ones at the dealer’s parts store.

Agree with touchupdirect, did all of the cars damage repair on the 2016 ES and the paint matched perfectly using their filler, primer, color and clearcoat . Although my paint/body work skills are by no means great.

Body shop wanted close to 20K for the work on a car that's not even worth that (mostly side-swipe repairs, no frame damage).

An expert detailer (since 1990) told me will only use Chipex.

I’ve also only used OEM paint from Bell Lexus or any dealer.

Out of curiosity I tried to find OEM paint for Liquid Platinum and it is nowhere to be found, at least when I tried.

Maybe you or someone else will have better luck finding it or you’d possibly have to get it from Japan.

I have both, and can tell no difference between the two. 👍🏾

suggest you add protection film on front part of your car like the hood and front lights which do help a lot to protect the paint.

I purchased factory touch up in Infrared color. Problem is, it is too dark and does not fully match for some reason. I'm looking for some way to try and thin it out to lighten it up.

sometimes the best approach to fixing minor paint damage is, after
cleaning the repair area, obtain a drop of paint on the end of a needle,
and allow the drop to fill the void by capillary action; no brushing needed.
after a few days you can buff the repaired area, or just leave it be.

Thank you, I was looking at nail polish as a possible alternative. I will definitely check it out.

Thanks for your suggestion. I am well experienced in many ways to apply the paint. My issue was the color match. Also there is a product called Langka that works well for smoothing the touch up area after painting.

I have full PPF on the vehicle. This chip pierced the film and I am looking to fill the void.
