You’d think so, only 1.2% of annual sales! I suspect that the use of a CVT transmission is another major turnoff for the hybrid model and to top it off, more expensive than the wonderful V8 version. Someone would really have to be obsessed with fuel economy to opt for the hybrid. Even then the V8 is capable of an impressive 30-32 MPG at 70-80 MPH highway cruising.Further more you get the beautiful V8 exhaust tuning.😊👍
Well, as a hybrid owner, I'll confute that.
Also, they sell a bunch of them in Europe and elsewhere, so they already have a manufacturing base for those markets. Quite honestly, I think the reason that they don't sell a lot of the hybrids in the US is that they just don't make them available for sale here. The ones that I've seen for sale on dealers' websites typically get sold pretty quickly. There's clearly a market for them here that is not being tapped.
I guess it just makes mine all that much more special!

"Despite demand remaining strong, sales fell year on year due to fewer operating days and insufficient HEV inventory."
Yep! This seems to be the case, no guarantees a buyer gets exactly what they may desire. You cannot specifically itemize and custom order the LC 500 like you are able to do with Porsche. Nonetheless the LC 500 is still my preference.
