Default LC500 Orientation

Recently purchase a low milage MY23 LC500 coupe. I dropped the vehicle off at the detailer and left town for an extended trip. Really looking forward to returning home to get acquainted with our purchase and maximize the owner experience. Plan on devouring the owner's manual, YouTube links and this site. Areas to address: 1. Info/audio system interface (Apple user). 2. Interior illumination. 3. portable jump starter (in cabin). 3. trickler charger. 4. ??? the unknown. Any assistance/direction provided is appreciated.

go home and drive it first, all your concerns are moot.

lol. It’s the new car excitement!
there’s really a lot of material on the LC on YouTube. You can spend a lot of time reading and listening to others but what really matters most is you driving it.

Default This walkthrough on YouTube is very thorough!

After watching I doubt you'll need the manual.

I've had two LC's, something I've done for both:

This covers / protects the bottom of the bumper from scrapes. The fact that Lexus painted the bottom of the bumper, where any person knows it will get scraped, is nuts to me. Smarter designers put a sacrificial piece of black plastic there that can be damaged and replaced cheaply without having to repaint the bumper. This bumper scrape protector is that sacrificial plastic.

Covercraft soft interior cover for our cars, the fit is perfect and the fabric is soft and stretchy. I have one of these on both my LC500 and my Mk4 Supra.

Looks like you found a late model pre-owned alternative to your incoming car. Look forward to seeing the photos. My 24 just hit and I am very happy. 149 miles on it as of today.

Enjoy your new car.

I agree with you on this video! Although I was given a thorough, one-on-one orientation at the Lexus dealer when I picked up my '23 convertible, this video helped fill in any gaps. Congrats to Atlrock on your new purchase! Welcome to the club!

Does that scrape cover require a glue or sealant to attach to the bumper?

The installation kit comes with a black sealant (edge seal compound).
