LC500 2024 Valves
Hello, I own a 2024 LC500 and I want to open the valves. I saw a device for this on the internet that was controlled with a wireless remote control. When I talked to the seller, he said that it is not compatible with vehicles with 2024 new generation multimedia systems, so it is not compatible with my vehicle. Can anyone with experience tell me how I should proceed? I saw a video saying that if I remove a few cables that control the valves at the exhaust outlets, the valves will always remain open. Is this video valid for 2024 models?

Yes, you can manually unplug the valves. If you have a convertible, it's two valves, not four like the coupe. It's still fairly quiet with valves open all the time. That's how I ran my 2024 LC until I put on an aftermarket exhaust a couple of months ago.
Hello, I removed the valve cables and the sound was really good. I covered the ends of the cables with three layers of electrical tape. Do I need to do anything extra? It rains a lot in the city I live in. God forbid, what happens if the water passes through the band and touches the cable? What extra precautions should I take to prevent this from happening? Thanks

I also saw someone on YT post a video about removing a fuse from the trunk fuse box that would deactivate the exhaust valves. It was stated that if you remove the fuse, you don't have to do anything with the electrical plug under the car near the valves. This would ensure no water gets into the undercar connections. Not sure what else might be controlled by the fuse, but that could be another option.

I really want to unplug them but without a proper protective solution I won't do it. I don't wanna ESD bag the connectors and tie them off. I heard someone mention that Toyota has connector plugs that are available but its impossible to find out the part numbers and that guy who managed to get them didn't even drop the part numbers.
