Default AC not working

Thought I would inquire here before making an appointment at the dealer. My nearly 7 year old 2018 LC might have it's first problem. When the ac is on, I can't get air to blow through the main vents. The windshield vent and the lower vents are working, but the main vents are no bueno. Anyone have this happen and got it fixed? This issue just started.

Same thing happened to my 2018. It is a known issue. There is an LSB for it.

The fix for mine was the first step of reprogramming and cleaning the servos. They did not have to replace the servos. We will see over time if the fix works or not which would then require new servos.

Since you also have a 2018, also check for condensation/fogging in your rear view camera housing. I had to get my rear view camera exchanged because of fogging and condensation inside the lens.

I had the same issue on my 2018 and the dealer reset the servos by installing a software update. Took 40 minutes and I was on my way. Best news as I was anticipating spending $$$$

The Dealer can Re-calibrate the Servo gears. It also runs them backwards some to try and Re-lube them in reverse.

On some Lexus's it was a update. They sent a letter to owners. The letter also showed a expire date. Should all check. This Servo motor problem is across all Lexus Models.

It is also known to be intermittent. Mine was intermittent. It would work one day and not another and then work, So still make the appointment as they will also check the car's computer for the error codes. That is how they confirmed mine was acting up based on the error codes and thus it qualified for the Lexus Service Bulletin Fix.
