Default calipers - powder coat vs paint?

still having the caliper painting dilemma I posted last week - reading various replies I received from fellow lc owners. opinions ranged from buying a new set and having them powder coated and the old set becoming paper weights as most likely their isn't much of a market for used. that would probably be $1000.00 investment once purchased, powder coated and replaced. my question now is powder coat vs high temp paint? I'm leaning towards finding a body shop in the area that will paint.

Painting the existing calipers is pretty easy and relatively low cost. Seen a bunch of people do it, including on 911s/Caymans/Corvettes or other high performance sports cars and as long as it’s a good shop, it looks great and doesn’t have any wear issues.

Also, if painted, its going to be easier to touch them up if needed.
