On the TPMS sensors, if anyone is running a second set of wheels, DO NOT pay your dealership or anyone to program them. My dealership was going to charge me $460 to program the new sensors. However, if you read the manual, it says to go to the setting and select new set. And it takes 10-30mins of driving for the car to learn and recognize the new sensors. So now I wonder wth the dealer do to “program” the sensors for $460.
Registering new TPMS. The tire pressure warning light will flash for a bit then stay on until the new sensors are recognized.
After about 10mins of driving, the readings showed up.

And it’s also the LC500 and maybe LS500 that has this feature and other vehicles do need some kind of initial programming. I know for a fact my 2020 GSF does not have this. In fact, it can only store one set of tpms. So everytime I swap wheels, I have to go into ODB and register the ID of the sensors being used.

You’re probably okay with other Toyota tpms that sell for $40-60 a set on eBay. I think they’re all 315MHz. However, I already spent so much on this car that another $400 is negligible at this point.
