On the Nürburgring!
To your point, Misha does a lot of Ring laps and used to be associated with a guy who had crazy fast kit (ex. Manthey Racing 911 cars) so our friend the LC500 does not command the kind of attention one of those high power/performance cars require.
He was pretty stoked about the car, so that is the main take away for me.

wow, tons of fun!
I noticed his oil temp moving up, anyone has any advise if that level is fine (as long as it doesnt hit Red)?
I've seen other vids where the car will alert and basically go into limp mode, so I think it protects itself from driver abuse if you really push it to that limit.

Probably not a good idea to do it repeatedly but if you happen to drive it so hard on a track that you reach that point, yes I'd think doing it once would be no different than overheating for any other reason.
Yea, but I swear that's the alternating look of joy and sheer terror on the face of the owner sitting beside him.
Anyone know what the "mod" is he talks about that boosts HP to 508 (or did he say 580?)?

Here's the first and last pictures of the oil temp gauge from the video:

Engine coolant temp didn't move. It would have been interesting to see his transmission temps, since other videos have shown that 10-12 minutes of very hard driving in Sport S+ can reliably trip the transmission temp warning.
Also, lots of oversteer in the video. It would be interesting if they could do back to back runs with the traction control on vs off. When we track these cars at the Lexus Performance Driving School, obviously they don't let us turn any of the nannies off. I've done both COTA and Road Atlanta in the LC500 and never felt the traction control intrude on the driving experience. It's really good. I'm sure a professional driver could tell the difference, the question is how much.
