Default Kiwi LC

Been lusting after an LC for a few years now, been a V8 man for nearly 40 years

Thought I had better pull my finger out before they disappear, shook hands on a 2024 USB coupe on Monday

Waiting to sign the papers once the car has be ordered & allocated to be built, I was told September delivery

was in Sydney and then on to Auckland,NZ in 70 on R&R from Nam.. spent 4 days there and they still delivered milk in bottles with cream at the top by a milkman:}they pretty much rolled up the sidewalks at 6PM..strangest part was the bars quit serving alcohol at 10PM but it was acceptable to bring ur own bottle and keep it under the table and just buy the mixers, we closed the bar out at 4AM just before departing NZ.:}}}}}}}}}

Its a little different now

I can easily remember the milk bottle, I was a little young to venture into bars back them, you can still get milk delivered to you door in glass bottles though

Congrats - hard part is waiting - I was fortunate to find one configured exactly as I wanted so I was able to buy off the rack. If you haven't watched the SavageGeese reviews of this car, I highly recommend - I agree with everything they say about it being all about the intangibles and the feeling of the car - every drive feels special. The sound and fury of the NA V8 + Toyota quality = keep forever!

The last one of these turned up this morning, all the way from Texas

Collectively they owe me less than buying a single new one here, even with the freight

Hope I never need to use any of them

Just been at the dealership to trade the GR86 in for a GR Sport CHR for my partner, a more suitable vehicle for a new grandma

The CEO was waiting with a big smile on his face, my LC has moved forward, will be here September now

I’d call them, quickly. The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Just kidding. Enjoy.
