Default How long for Lexus paint to be fully cured

Just noticed my ‘24 manufactured date is 03/24. Anyone knows how long it takes for the paint to be fully cured? Before I can put PPF on? I don’t want, when the time comes, to remove the PPF and the paint comes with it.

From factory it should be about a month or so.

At this time you're golden.

I recently had my front bumper replaced and asked when I could have PPF installed. The Lexus certified collision center told me they could install 3M PPF while it was there. I questioned them on installing it so soon and was told it was fine. I then spoke with 2 different PPF shops and was told to wait a month for the Xpel and ceramic coating. I would not be comfortable with anything less than a month.

My port installed ppf was installed very poorly. Already lifting in spots and dirt under the film in multiple location.

Port installed PPF is crap. This is why I did not do it on mine and just getting it done professionally.

Port installation is usually not a choice by the buyer.
I was lucky to find an LC500 I want fresh off the truck without any port installation.

I guess I was the lucky one. When I did my bespoke build I specifically told the dealer 2 things ... No PPF crap and no holes in the front for a front plate .... and they complied
