He said the alignment would be a slow tedious task which he wasn’t looking forward to. It will be interesting to see if in fact March and later production finally have addressed this at the factory. Both the head tech and GM (who’s been wonderful) were disappointed Lexus let these vehicles out of the factory this way-where’s the famous Lexus QC?

So after driving a ~450 mile round trip to get the car we passed until they can get confirmation exactly when the issue was resolved.

As you can see in the pics the gap on both sides is no where’s near even especially when measured from the inside. Oh, and by the way it had Dunlops like all the others since initial ‘24 release.

This was the first time I saw the 10 spokes in person and they were quite nice but will be a pain to clean; the brush set I posted about a while back is a must and will make it much easier. The new dark rose interior is a step up over the mismatched different shades of red in the pre 24’s and it with the extra black really looks great.
This might be the loan tool needed.

Are you going to physically look and possibly purchase or just have the Dealership send photos?

Two new are up here but I don't know the production dates; JTHMPAAY7RA109634 JTHNPAAY1RA110346

I am also interested in the TSB number/info since while mine is better, the seal is still not equally pinched left to right looking across the top roof line.

Thanks, is there a more current tsb, as the alignment tool shows it was still under development/just being made available in 2021, where it is now available albeit only one per area.

I’m hoping the new tsb that was referred to by an earlier poster shows affected production range. I would have hoped by now Lexus would be addressing this on the line and not still shipping cars out this way!

They now know what to look for so if it didn’t have they issue they’d give me the green light which they haven’t.

I also don’t want to pay an extra $6k for the blue bespoke top, and blue is not on my list of top choices.

I will wait to see if March production cars finally resolved the issue. Furthermore if the 25’s will be announced in mid-late May like last year, I’ll just order a 25 🙂
