Question paddle shifter?

i am planning to purchase a used 2020 LC. i am use to driving a car with an automatic transmission. in my case i have a sc430. will the transition to the lc transmission be an easy undertaking using the paddle type shifter for both me an my wife or is there an option to use just regular P - R - D - 1 - 2 ?

just put it in drive and go.
You can use the paddle shifters whenever you desire a more manual experience.

You are in for a real treat. I went from a SC430 to the LC convert. Two totally different cars.

Why not consider a convert 21. You are used to an open-air experience already and there are some very good deals to be found these days on those models

I haven't noticed much difference operationally between my LC and my NX and RXL (paddle shifters) except the LC seems to be much more responsive (quicker shifts when used). That said, the biggest transition for me is getting used to moving the shifter left, then up/down for R/D. Especially when the shifter has to return to the right before going R to D. The other biggest change is the pressing the P (park) button. Double checking myself to make sure it's in Park. I haven't used the shifter for manual, just using the paddles for that but for 99% of my driving it just sits in D and I let it do it's thing.
