Default Wireless Carplay adapter not working after service?

Hi all, I took my '21 in for a 10k service last week, and now my wireless carplay module doesn't work. I'm guessing they must've done some sort of software update, but it was working perfectly up until then. Anything I can check? It's a "auerds" brand from Amazon. I've tried their service but they're telling me the car's not compatible. Which...it was up until last week!

Thanks.

could be your usb port or cable is not working. replug and plug? try different cable?
note it only works in one of the usb ports i believe so make sure it's the right (left?) one.

Thanks! I did try unplugging and re plugging, that didn't work. There are two ports - upper and lower. I'll try it in both. It's not the cable, because it's an adapter. I can see the bootup screen of the module, but then nothing happens. I just found it a really odd coincidence that it stopped working right after a service, figured it may have been a software update.

great choice (that's my other car too, hahaha).

ok, so def. a car problem. i doubt it was a software update though... maybe they forgot to put a fuse back in. can you plug anything else in the usb port to see if it's working? (flash drive with music files, or even... does the phone charge when plugged in directly?).

No way, that's really funny. That's a great idea, I'll give that a try.

No luck, unfortunately. Phone charges fine when plugged in, and carplay works perfectly. I may bite the bullet and order another adapter. Anyone have any recommendations?

Well, I finally realized I have another of the same modules in my other car. Swapped them and lo and behold, one works and one doesn't. So it's the stupid module. I never should've doubted my trusty Lexus
