Has anyone used a blendmount radar detector holder on a 2024 LC. Supposedly they have changed the rear view mirror a bit, and it might not be connectable to blendmounts. Thanks in advance.

 

I use a BLENDMOUNT on my BLACKVUE dash cam.

However, my LC is a 2021.

Thanks, just wired mine to the rear view mirror and use the oem big suction cup. Works great!

 

You could always upgrade to a Blendmount later, especially since you went with the mirror tap install. I will say that you don't want that suction cup to come loose. It'll pull the tap out maybe.

 

Unfortunately my buddy told me there are no blendmounts available for the 2024 LC for the Uniden R8….. hope he was right, but either way I am happy.

I just checked the Blendmount website and they don't show any options for the 24 LC500 convertible. But if I choose 2023 LC 500 convertible they offer a couple options. I assume no changes to the rear view mirror for the 24's?

 

It clamps to the arm that extends from the window to the back of the mirror. What possible amendment would they have done that would result in a different windshield or mirror?

 

Unfortunately, the rear view mirror has something that changed… Blend will not work for a 2024.

 

Lexus shows the same mirror part number for all LC500s

 

Blendmount will not work with the 2024, at least that is what my installer told me.

 

Interesting. I’ll email them to ask if they have plans for a compatible mount.
