Surprised that the LC outsold all variations of the RC.

Thanks for the info SP. Looks like LC500H sales quadrupled in December to a total of 4 and nearly doubled for the 2023 calendar year to a total of 37 Also, looks like the honeymoon is already over for the revised ‘24 model since sales in Dec ‘23 are down 13.5% compared to Dec ‘22. Sales for the calendar year ‘23 were up 27% compared to ‘22 which makes sense since presumably sales went way up for the initial release months of the revised ‘24 model in Sept, Oct, Nov.? Are you able to post the monthly sales data for each month in 2022 and 2023 so we can gauge the impact of the release of the revised ‘24 model? Hey

Anybody have access or know where to find stats on the # of coupes vs. convertibles made each year? Particularly interested in my year 2022 Inspiration Series coupes vs. Convert. made of the 150 that year. Would be interesting to see the breakdown over the years but I have yet to find it.

I have access to an internal sheet that shows new Toyota / Lexus vehicles in the pipeline. As of right now there are 53 coupes and 405 convertibles. 10 coupes and 73 convertibles are 2023, the rest are 2024.

The '24 Inspiration Edition has a new color, "Polar Surge Satin". 2 of the coupes and 9 of the convertibles show that paint color on the sheet.

This spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=807413555 ?

It also shows one leftover 2023 UltraWhite on Black Coupe with a 12k discount at a dealer in Miami.. Wonder what happened there.

What’s more surprising to me is LS outsold the LC.
I thought the old grand sedan is dead.
If I want a Lexus coupe, it’s gotta be the LC.

The part of the data that isn't clear is the supply of these vehicles and how that may have affected sales. As anyone on this forum can attest, ordering a bespoke LC wasn't easy for most people and people struggled to buy the configurations and colors they really wanted. How many could they have sold if it was easier to place an order or find the configurations and colors people wanted?

Yep that's the one. Been trying to chase down a new SR5 Xtracab Tacoma as well, that sheet is amazing.

Just saw the MY23 C8 numbers. U.S. 46,000.

26 times more Vettes than LCs.

This. Also the overwhelming supply that's being built are white, black and gray and I don't think that lines up with the colors that people actually want such as ultrasonic blue of which there have been v few.

The fact that the 2024 inspiration series is white is also going to be a factor in how well or not that sells bc in the past the inspiration series was a special color not a special color that looks like a regular color

IMO I believe its a good thing that the LC is not sot after. Keeps the mystery of what it is as she rolls down the road as well as a slower decrease in value.
