Ceramic coating on my Lexus LC 500
Have a new 24 LC C atomic silver w/black interior w/PPF on 90% of the vehicle.
I want to get a ceramic coating and have no knowledge of the product or process to apply it.
What’s the top 2 or 3 ceramic coated products I should investigate and select the best in class product for my vehicle? Any suggestions on firms to use?
Located in SOCAL, CA.
Thank you.

as for the process have a look at the Video in the thread above.
How much machine polishing you will require will depend on the condition of your paint.
All good quality ceramic coating can only be applied by Certified Detailers , the ones you can buy and apply yourself are ok but not the best, plus the best results are all to do with the preparation, so you would need a orbital polisher and the skill to use it correctly.
when the car was new I had " KAMIKAZE " at the time it had around the 5 year life span
The second time, as shown in my three i had " GTECHNIQ CRYSTAL SERUM ULTRA " which has a 9 year life span.
Just one bit of advice if you not going to clean you car using the correct cleaning procedure and products then paying out for a ceramic coating will be a waist of money.
Do not use car washes, you should foam wash first, use PH natural shampoo, two bucket wash, blow dry car or at least use a good quality drying towel.

The hardest part of applying ceramic coating is fixing the paint before you do it. For both PPF and Ceramic, you are preserving whatever is underneath. So if you just do PPF and/or Ceramic without doing paint correction, you are preserving all the problems with the paint.
Fortunately for you, you PPF'd a 2024 car that likely has perfect or near-perfect paint. So all you need to do is figure out the ceramic coat product for your PPF manufacturer then apply it. This is something you should be able to do yourself. Check out 6:44 in this video:
Otherwise you can talk to a detailer in your area that does ceramic coat. They will have a ceramic product they typically use, but I would go with whatever ceramic your PPF manufacturer recommends. Just the application of the ceramic is very easy and should be cheap (under $300).
