so i got one of these. i'm not impressed since the phone vibrates a lot.

 

^^^^^I also have the same phone mount. However, I do not use the ProClip phone holder - IMO, it does not work well. I use this phone holder:


But it's not available anymore Kuda now sells a substandard holder made by a different company.

I tried using the substandard holder with a ProClip mount in my truck. I am now using this holder, and it works well:

so am i understanding you don't use the proclip mount at all now? i assume those other holders don't connect to the proclip mount?

 

^^^^Nope - I use the ProClip mount in both my truck and LC. As I posted, the holder in the truck is the Akron unit, and the holder in the LC is the old-style Kuda unit. Both attach just fine to the ProClip mounts
