I wonder if the trans cooler radiator is only on the coupe IS and not CV IS.
I am hoping you can take the front plastic facia off your LC so you can see if you also have the small radiator in front of the main radiator as shown in my photos. If not, then that must be the trans radiator only on the IS.

I don’t think that’s the radiator for the trans.
The CV IS either doesn’t have this trans cooler and it’s only on the ‘24 coupe IS or it’s not on the US market. We need someone with a ‘24 IS coupe to confirm. Or just take your LC to the track.
I can see the two bolts and the bracket on the side where the radiator would mount. But mine is empty. So I don’t think ‘24 model has the trans cooler with the additional radiator as some of us had hoped.

That small radiator in front of the main radiator is also on my 24’ Bespoke Coupe and the line does indeed connect to the trans cooling block.

I looked at parts schematics for past several years of LC's and they also show the small radiator in front of the main radiator. You are correct that this radiator connects to the trans cooling block per the schematics as well as your observation. I assume the existing radiator and cooling block can't provide enough cooling when the car is driven hard in sport +. The assumption that the additional auxiliary radiator is in the 24 Inspiration Series appears to be wrong at least in the convertible. Hopefully someone with the hard top chimes in and we can put this to rest with factual information.
Can anyone explain why this tiny separate radiator for the transmission would be better than sharing the much larger radiator with the engine?
I just don’t see a lot of room where the trans cooler radiator is mounted. And we have already confirmed that the ‘24 IS convertible does not have it.

As far as I know, the intercooler acts as auxiliary, for 'spirited' driving. Normal driving conditions, radiator is sufficient.
So the auxiliary radiator is an additional path the trans oil go through? I’m still waiting for someone to review one with this and see if it’s better than the standard.
I am from Japan and when I ordered the 2024 LC from Lexus, the transmission cooler is standard on S Package and optional for the Standard Package.
As I do not want the rear wheel steering, I pick the Standard Package and pay extra for the transmission cooler.
