Thinking back to the poster who's wheels supposedly got rubbed enroute to the dealer.
These pics here show the transit wheel covering very clearly and makes that damage curiouser.
Another thought on the dash. What makes the new one "so bad" is that we've had the old one. The original was just so well designed and laid out, beautiful really.
If the 24 were the first year, IMO, the new dash would be easier to handle. PS No offence to the poster above.

Agree Bruce, the previous dash was a much more elegant, flowing, and attractive design.
The tacked on touch screen is likely the most cost
efficient means to address the addition of this new screen and associated tech.

They weren't rubbed, he said they were pitted which given my experience is entirely possible. In the first pic you see that where the valve stem is the protective film is cut or moved etc, plus the film is open in the center. Those are all areas where tiny rocks from the truck ride or just driving in general get into the wheel and get stuck between the film and the wheel face, and as such it leaves indentations in the face of the wheel. I had a very very minor case of it on my matte black BBS wheels when my car arrived at the dealer and I visibly saw the tiny rocks between the wheel and the film since I was there for the moment when my car was unloaded.
