Bespoke '24 LC-Conv ordered, with codes
I've owned a '21 LC convertible since October of '21, absolutely love it. Nightfall Mica / Caramel with Sand top. My only complaint is that the Nightfall Mica color requires very bright sun and you to be very close to really appreciate it. I've had one great photo of it that really shows the color, and another that is pretty good. Otherwise it just doesn't photograph well or instantly grab you from a distance.
Saw the Ultrasonic Blue option for '24 and decided to go for it. Wife is onboard because she hates the trackpad. Sat down with our dealer on Monday to pick the Bespoke options, went with:
08X1 - Ultrasonic Blue Exterior
BL - Bespoke Build Pkg w/ Blue Soft Top
DT - Dark Chrome Exterior Trim
FQ - 21-in Forged Alloy Whees w/ Matte Black Finish (supposed to be the 5 dual-spoke wheels from the inspiration edition)
GF - Head-Up Display
SP - Carbon Fiber Door Scuff Plates
Interior code 40 for Caramel Leather w/ Sand Top, waiting to see if the BL / blue soft top supercedes the top color. Also the system wouldn't allow these ^^^ selections with LD - Torsen Limited Slip Differential, but the dealership has a question into their Lexus rep as they believe that the block is for redundancy (included as part of bespoke) rather than not being allowed.
The '24 fixes my three big gripes about the '21-23: a better blue color, dark trim replacing the chrome (previously available only on inspiration edition cars) and dark wheels replacing the chrome/black 21's that I don't really like.
Process took about an hour, between researching everything as best we could then letting the sales manager attempt to enter the choices. Bespoke option includes the all-weather and touring upgrades, which made most of the individual option codes unnecessary.
No delivery date estimate yet.

Possibly on the coupe, definitely not on the convertible. Rear wheel steering isn't compatible with the extra bracing on the convertible.

MSRP for the '24, I might see if they'll knock a few bucks off if I let them finance it. I'm fully expecting them to lowball me on the '21 trade-in, but haven't gotten there yet either.

Hmm. OK, So within the USA, they are accepting Bespoke orders? My dealer here in MA has has had a deposit from me for about 6 months. I elected to wait for MY 24 when offered MY 23 regular production. SA said he they are not taking My 24 Bespoke orders right now. Perhaps it's time I call other dealers!

So I called 4 dealers in the greater Boston area regarding the Bespoke MY 24. No Go. One said their GM would look into it more and call me back if they find something out. I may need to start calling out of state dealers. It's frustrating that Lexus advertises this as a purchasing option, but so few dealers in my region seem to know the process involved. I am looking for a color combination exclusive to the bespoke. Any advice?
