Default Climate Concierge in LC vs Auto in LS

I am a prospective buyer of LC vert (infrared, toasted caramel with tan top, LSD, HUD, touring package if you ask me what combo I am looking for). I currently have a 2016 LS 460 and have not owned any other Lexus cars before.

I am reading that people either dislike or like Climate Concierge on LC. When I dive deep on this I found Climate Concierge provides the same customer experience that I have in my LS with Auto setting.

In my 2016 LS: I have a physical button for heated steering.

Physical button for heated and ventilated/cooled seats with three options - auto, heat, cool (by turning the **** you can change the intensity of heat or cool or set to auto).

Physical auto button for AC/heat, physical auto button for fan speed, and of course physical buttons to increase/decrease temperature on driver and passenger sides.

I can play with all physical buttons at my heart's content but I like simplicity and not really doing it.

I have set AC/heat, seat, fan controls to auto and have not changed it in last three years. Only thing I do once in a while is adjust temperature up/down and that too with voice commands (I know I got to use the tech!). And I am loving it.

In cold weather, steering heats up automatically, seats as well including fan speed, and heat intensity of steering wheel, seat, and fan speed depends on external temperature and internal set temperature (73 degrees F mostly). In 30 degrees F, everything is nice and warm. In 60 degrees F, everything is comfortable. So auto setting really keeps comfortable cabin regardless of the external temperature.

Wondering if Climate Concierge in LC is any different than my Auto experience in LS460.

I find that Climate Concierge does a decent enough job in adjusting everything (ventilation, heat/cool, seating, neck heater, steering wheel) that I do not have to go to the menu system to override it. If I am too warm/cold I just adjust the temperature and the system finds the right combination.
Thus the typical complaint (from pretty much every car Youtuber I watched) about the finicky menu system to adjust individual parameters is in practice a non-issue. At least for me.
Don't have a LS460, so I cannot compare to that.

The problem I have with the climate concierge is that it switches itself off randomly. I am not sure the conditions that cause it to happen. I think maybe if you switch off the fans? or the AC compressor? Or when you adjust the fan speed? Then when it goes off you need to dive into the menus again to switch it back on. I got tired of doing this and instead just set seat cooling to auto, and fan AC speed to auto. Not once has the system dropped me out of the auto setting since. I just adjust the temperature, let it do it's thing, and it works fine for me. To me, climate concierge is more trouble than it's worth

After you set up , if you dont hit any buttons like you mentioned it will not turn off CC. EXEPT Temperature button. You can adjust up and down then CC will do the magic.

I find it interesting how many folks complain about what a pain it is to access commonly used features. A couple of clicks and you're there. To me it's very easy.

In that case I dont think they designed the function very well. From time to time I like to roll down the windows and turn off the AC compressor or switch the whole system off (I'm sure I'm not the only one) and I would just like the concierge to resume function after (like it does when fan and seat cooling is set to auto). either that or give us a hard button to turn the concierge back on

Practically speaking the LC and LS are very much alike. In the LC, set up the Concierge, and you can pretty much control everything with 3 buttons: auto, off, and temp. I’m amazed at how well it knows what I like!
On the LS (mine is a 2012) you still have to control the steering wheel and the seat temperature manually. But hey. It’s only two buttons.
